Design settings in Connections are changed by editing the initialization file. This file may be accessed by selecting the appropriate Notepad icon in the Connections group of the Start Menu, or it can be accessed from inside Connections by selecting the View, Settings from the menu.
The initialization file contains a list of possible values for each design default. You simply remove a semicolon from the choice you want, and place a semicolon in front of the old default. In some cases you must type in the exact value you want.
The original values that came with the program should always be preserved. These will be referred to in the rest of the online help as "factory defaults"
