Fire Resistance Rating
The Fire resistance rating input is the default value Required duration in hours for new beam or column files or new concept mode groups.
Refer to IBC 722.6.3 Fire Resistance and NDS Chapter 16 - Fire Design for fire design procedures implemented by Sizer.
Fire design check box
This check box now applies only to Concept mode. You can set the no of exposed sides for each group of members, then turn on and off fire design for the entire structure without having to change each group.
