Over-capacity Coefficient

The program checks the over-capacity coefficient from CSA O86 9.8.6 for structures three or more storeys in height and when IEFaSa(0.2) is greater than or equal to greater than 0.35, as per 9.8.1. The shear capacity and over-capacity ratio of each floor has been added to the Seismic Information table for each floor and direction. (This table already had the applied shear.) The ratio of overcapacity for level 2 to level 1 is shown at the bottom of the table. A note below indicates that it is within the acceptable range of 0.9 and 1.2, a warning is issued if it is outside that range.
