Directional (All-Heights) Procedure

With the Directional (All Heights) Procedure from ASCE 7-10 Chapter 27 and Figures 27.3-1 and 27.3-8, wind loads are calculated for each wall and roof surface independently.

This procedure is readily applicable to a wide range of building geometries. It can be used for any configuration that can be modeled in Shearwalls. It can handle single or multiple blocks, eccentric ridge lines, monoslope roofs, flat roofs, single gable, double gable, single hip or double hip.
