Deflection of Perforated Shear Walls

The following SDPWS provisions related to perforated walls and deflection analysis are implemented by Shearwalls:

As per 4.3.2.1, one deflection is calculated for the entire wall. The length b in the deflection equation is the sum of the lengths of the full-height segments, adjusted for narrow segments, as per SDPWS 4.3.4.3. The shear force v is vmax given in by Eqn. 4.3-9 in 4.3.6.4.1.1, that is, v divided by the shear capacity reduction factor Co.
