Version 13.2, released on Nov 15, 2024, updates Sizer to conform to the 2024 IBC, 2024 NDS and ASCE 7-22 design codes and standards , while also allowing you to continue to use the 2021 IBC, 2018 NDS and ASCE 7-16 editions.
This version was released primarily to provide users with the change in snow load combination factors in the ASCE 7-22. The update to the NDS was a partial one; included changes to notch and taper cut length and restrictions from NDS 4.4.3, 5.4.5 and 8.4.1. , but other changes will be implemented in the next update. These include the bearing design criterion for fire design from 16.3.2, and the reorganization of the shear design equations from 3.4.2.
