The design provisions used in WoodWorks Sizerä are from the 2019 CSA O86 Engineering design in wood Standard (September 2019), including Update No.1 (March 2020).
Load types, load combinations, load factors, and importance factors are taken from the the 2015 National Building Code of Canada (NBC). Prior to the 2019 edition of O86 these were also listed in the O86-14 and earlier editions. O86-19 now just references the NBC.
A small number of design code provisions taken directly from the NBC, Division B, Part 4 are also implemented.
The O86-19 is referenced from NBC 2020, which will be implemented in a future program update. It is permissible to use the more recent O86 with the earlier NBC.
A program setting allows you to instead use the CSA O86-14 along with either the 2015 or 2010 editions of the NBC, or the CSA O86-09 with NBC 2010.
