Modification Factors

The modification factors (K-factors) apply to one or more design criteria, may or may not apply to each material, and can be defined differently for different materials and criteria.

They are used in the calculation of factored strengths and stiffness and are shown in the Factors table of the Additional Data, along with the specified (unfactored) strength for that criterion.
