Perforated Shear Wall Co Factor

This setting allows you to choose between using the SDPWS Equations 4.3-5 and 4.3-6, and using Table 4.3.3.5 in determining the Co factor that is applied to reduce the shear wall capacity and increase the shear wall deflection, hold-down forces, and drag strut forces for perforated shear walls.

The values in Table 4.3.3.5 are arrived at by using the maximum height of all openings on the wall as the height of each opening, and is thus a conservative approximation of the Co arrived at via the equations.
