The IBC refers to the NDS for most wood engineering design provisions. The few design provisions from the IBC used by Sizer that are independent of the NDS are discussed here.
Load combinations used by SIzer are from IBC 1605.3 Basic Load Combinations; these are the same as those found in the ASCE 7-16.
