Any number of rectangular blocks can be created in Structure Action. The program will ensure that any new blocks intersect with, or abut to, one and only one existing block. This block can then have another block or blocks attach themselves to it. These rules ensure proper generation of exterior walls and roof panels. Blocks can be deleted after they are created.
Note that to select one of a number of intersecting blocks, you must click on a portion of the block that does not intersect with any other. Once selected, the block can be deleted, resized or moved with the mouse or in Structure Input Form, or the levels information for that block can be changed.
After leaving the Structure Action, walls are created around the exterior of the block envelope, and you can no longer create or delete blocks, change the block dimensions directly, or change the number of building levels. You can still modify the wall heights, foundation elevation, and floor depths. Upon arriving in Roof Block Action, you can again add and delete blocks, and change the block dimensions.
While in Wall Action, you can modify the dimensions of roof blocks indirectly by moving exterior walls.
