• d_F is the nail diameter
• K_m is the service creep factor from O86 table A.23 for short-term loads, which is non-unity only for wet fabrication conditions
• v is the unit shear force in the wall segment
• H_s is the wall height
• P_ij is dead load counteracting force at the hold-down location
• S_n is nail spacing
• L_s is
• n_u is lateral nail resistance per nail from O86 12.9.3.
