A check box allows you to specify whether vibration design is to be performed for joists and CLT floors, and when checked, there is a choice of design procedures. For sawn lumber joists, you can choose between the procedure from O86 A.5.4.5 and the one from NBC A-9.23.4.2.(2). For I-joists, you can choose from the O86 A.5.4.5 and the CCMC Report method For glulam and SCL joists, only the O86 procedure is available, and for CLT, the procedure from O86 A.8.5.2 is used.
