A button on the main tool bar allows you to "Accept design", that is, transfer the design results into any input fields that were selected as "Unknown". If you are designing for rigid and flexible diaphragms separately, a menu item allows you to select whether rigid diaphragm or flexible diaphragm design results are accepted.
Once accepted, if you run the design again, you can see whether the design passed for the other design case, and if not, make the necessary adjustments to your shear wall parameters. You can also select multiple shear walls, and those parameters that show up blank are different for different walls, and you may want to select the strongest of these for all the walls to avoid having too many different material specifications on your building.
