These settings allow you to control use of the concurrent software license for Shearwalls. Note that if you are in a pool of users on the same License Server ID, you may not able to set these settings if your administrator has not allowed you to do so (refer to License Deployment.)

Ask me every time
If you select this, you will be asked to choose between returning the license or keeping for a reserve period, and the length of the reserve period, each time you shut down the program.
License Reserve Period
This is the length of time which the license will be reserved for your use on the computer that you are using, and not available to other users or other computers. You can enter it in hours or in days.
If you expect to be using the program off-line, enter the time period you expect to be disconnected from the Internet.
If the license is never required by other users or on other computers, we still recommend a short (1-2 day) reserve period. This will avoid tying up the license indefinitely in the event there is a problem with your computer and you need to use the software on another one.
Expiry Date
Licenses have an expiry of one year after purchase or renewal. The expiry date and time remaining is shown at the bottom of this settings page.
